Enshrouded Skill Tree (2026)

The complete Enshrouded skill tree for 2026, fully updated for the Update 8 skill tree rework. Explore all 222 skill nodes spread across 12 archetypes and the four-color ring (gold athletics, blue magic, red combat, green ranged) - interactive view above, plus a free build planner for theorycrafting your next character.

This is both a reference (browse every node and see what it does) and a tool (allocate points, share builds, import saves). Use the tree to look up a single perk, plan a respec before patch day, or compare two community builds head-to-head.

How the Enshrouded skill tree works

The skill tree is laid out as a four-color ring: gold (Athlete / mobility), blue (Wizard / magic), red (Warrior / melee), and green (Ranger / ranged). Each color anchors three of the twelve archetypes, and the wedges between colors hold the hybrid archetypes that draw from two specializations at once. Every node costs one or more skill points, and most ranks are passive percent buffs or active-ability unlocks - there are no useless nodes, but synergy matters.

Movement around the tree is unrestricted: you can take any node as long as you've spent the prerequisite count of points inside its archetype wedge. That means a pure ranger build is just as legal as an athlete-wizard hybrid that grabs Heavy Hitter on the way past. The planner above respects every prerequisite live, so you can't accidentally build something the game wouldn't allow.

The 184-point cap and how to plan around it

Enshrouded characters cap at 184 total skill points at max level. With 222 nodes available, you can't take everything - around 38 nodes (~17% of the tree) have to be skipped on any given character. That's where the build planner pays for itself: drop into edit mode, allocate to taste, and the live counter tells you if you've gone over the cap. The compact ?build= code in the URL preserves your allocation across browser sessions, share links, and the mobile app.

What changed in the Update 8 skill tree rework

Keen Games' Update 8 reorganized large sections of the tree, renamed a handful of capstone nodes, and rebalanced point costs in the green (Ranger) and blue (Wizard) wings to bring them in line with red and gold. The planner above reflects every Update 8 change as of May 2026 - if you're importing an older build code generated before the rework, the planner will translate compatible nodes and flag any that no longer exist.

The 12 archetypes

Every Enshrouded build is anchored by your weapon and armor choices, but the skill tree is where you decide how you fight. Talents group around twelve archetype focuses: Athlete, Warrior, Tank, Soldier, Assassin, Trickster, Beguiler, Healer, Wizard, Battlemage, Survivor, and Ranger. Mix specializations within the 184-point budget to hybridize, or commit to a single wing for maximum impact - the planner makes it cheap to try both.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Enshrouded skill tree?

The Enshrouded skill tree is the game's character progression system: a four-color ring of 222 skill nodes organized into 12 archetypes (Athlete, Warrior, Tank, Soldier, Assassin, Trickster, Beguiler, Healer, Wizard, Battlemage, Survivor, Ranger). Each level grants skill points to spend on passive buffs, weapon specializations, or active abilities. Characters cap at 184 points, so every build is about deciding which 38-ish nodes to skip.

Is the skill tree up to date with the latest Enshrouded patch?

Yes - this page reflects the Update 8 skill tree rework (May 2026) and stays in sync with every Keen Games patch. The data is the same we ship in the Android and iOS Companion for Enshrouded app. If you spot a discrepancy after a hotfix, send us a note via the in-app feedback form.

Does my build get saved automatically?

In edit mode, builds save to your browser's local storage. They persist across visits on the same device and browser. Clearing site data removes them.

What is the 184-point cap?

It's the maximum total rank allocation an Enshrouded character can hit at the current level cap. The planner enforces it so you can only export builds that are reachable in-game.

Can I import my actual character's skills?

Yes - upload your save file in the Chest Finder, which extracts the skill list and gives you a build link to load here.

Is the planner free?

Completely free. The web tool is supported by light, non-intrusive ads. Get the mobile app for an ad-free experience.
